i made soap.
actually, i believe it's called "soap making for cheaters" ...
or "soap making for dummies" ...
or "soap making, sort of".
this child-friendly activity was so much easier than melting broken crayons into new crayons.
i didn't even break anything with this activity (i suppose everything has already been broken!).
it was fun. easy. not too messy. and the children could do most of the activity sans mom.
first, we made tennis soap in honor of our upcoming birthday party theme:
And then, since we had extra soap and molds just waiting to be used; we made soap for the bathrooms:
star soap for a star jar
and then, heart soaps for a valentine jar:
