Washers and Dryers are a necessity.
In Korea, the women hang their wet clothes on a line in the freezing winter temps. The clothes freeze. With a thin sheet of ice coating. Then the women beat the clothing with a stick to break the ice. And, miraculously, the clothes are dry. To them. But, I believe in the concept of a washateria!!
